Proof-Load Hold Timer

Set the hold time from your spec and how often to read the displacement gauge. Start it when the proof load is reached: it counts down, beeps at each reading time and at the end of the hold, and adds a row for each reading so you only type the gauge value. Print the log or carry the readings to the displacement check.

How it works

Time is measured from the moment you press Start, using the device clock, so a slow screen refresh never makes it drift. The large display counts down the time left in the hold to 00:00. A row is added at 0:00 and at every reading time (30 s, 60 s, … with a 30-second interval) up to the end of the hold, which also gets a row; "Log reading now" adds a row at the current time, for example when the load drops and you re-pump. Pause stops the clock and the reading prompts; Reset clears the clock and the rows. After the hold time is reached the display shows the overrun as +mm:ss.

Keep this tab in front while timing: phones and browsers slow down or silence background tabs, so a beep can come late even though the times in the log stay correct. Where the browser supports it, the page asks to keep the screen on while the timer runs. The hold time, reading times and the displacement limit come from your spec or the anchor manufacturer; the tool does not choose them. To check the readings against a limit, enter them in the displacement under load check; for mm and inches, the displacement unit converter; for the full record of the test, the pull-test record sheet.
