Enter the numbers your specification gives you: how many anchors were installed, what share must be proof tested, the minimum count, and the proof load factor. The tool does the arithmetic and prints a one-page plan.
Inputs
Nothing you type is uploaded or saved.
Plan
Anchors to test (share of installed, rounded up)
Anchors to test (after the minimum)
Proof load per anchor, factor × working load
Proof load in the other unit
Calculated with the free tool at calyx-ai.net/qa/proof-test-sample-size/ (Quality Tester Solutions LLC).
How it is calculated
Anchors to test = installed × share ÷ 100, rounded up to a whole anchor. If you enter a minimum and the share gives fewer, the minimum is used. The count never exceeds the number installed. Proof load = factor × working load, shown in kN and lbf (1 lbf = 4.4482216152605 N).
Where the numbers come from
This calculator does not choose the share, the minimum or the factor. They depend on the anchor type, the base material, whether the anchors are safety-critical and the document that governs the job, so take them from the specification, the anchor manufacturer or the engineer of record. Which anchors to pick and what counts as a pass come from the same place. Check the current edition of any standard with its publisher.
The Fastener & Anchor Pull-Test Report Templates pack has a kN/lbf/mm/in converter sheet next to a 40-row proof-test report with automatic PASS/FAIL, ultimate-load statistics, a calibration log, a printable procedure checklist and a standards index. $49 one-time, from Quality Tester Solutions LLC, the company behind Force-Test pull testers.
