The conversion factors
All factors come from exact definitions, so the only rounding is in the display: 1 ft·lbf = 1.3558179483314 N·m (1 lbf = 4.4482216152605 N times 1 ft = 0.3048 m), 1 in·lbf = 0.112984829027617 N·m, 1 kgf·m = 9.80665 N·m. The N·m table is rounded to whole ft·lbf and in·lbf, the ft·lbf table to 0.1 N·m; the converter shows up to four decimals.
The installation torque itself comes from the anchor manufacturer's instructions or your spec; this page only converts it. For the pull load, use the force unit converter (kN, lbf, kgf, kip), and record the test on the free pull-test record sheet.
Record the results in the full report workbook
The Fastener & Anchor Pull-Test Report Templates pack has a 40-row proof-test report with automatic PASS/FAIL, ultimate-load statistics, a calibration log, a unit converter, a printable procedure checklist and a standards index. $49 one-time, from Quality Tester Solutions LLC, the company behind Force-Test pull testers.
